Welcome to the office of Nancy Shotts State Farm Agent in Petaluma, CA. As a longtime resident of the area, I am passionate about helping protect the people of my community and opened my office in 1997 to do just that, bringing my extensive State Farm experience since 1988. We proudly service the residents of Sonoma County, including Petaluma, Penngrove, Cotati, Rohnert Park, and extending out to the beautiful coast of Bodega Bay. We can also assist customers in Washington County and Oregon. My team and I offer a wide range of insurance products to help protect what matters most to you, including Auto Insurance, Motorcycle Insurance, and Life Insurance. We can also help with Pet Insurance (and our office is pet-friendly). Give us a call or visit us at the office, and we will be happy to help you create a personalized insurance plan that aligns with your goals and budget. Even when I’m not in the office, I believe in giving back to the community. I am a proud member and past President of the Petaluma Chamber of Commerce, Past President of the Rotary Club of Petaluma, and have served as a board member for numerous organizations, including the Petaluma Boys and Girls Club and the American Red Cross Sonoma & Mendocino. In my free time, I love dancing, staying fit, traveling, and relaxing on the beautiful beaches of California. I am married with three grown children, and whenever I can, I love to spend time with them and my fur baby (Flat-coated Retriever), Rolo. My husband is also a team member at my State Farm office. Ian Foust is a local Petaluman and is my Assistant Office Manager. Ian has his California & Oregon property, casualty, life, health and pet insurance licenses. Jakob Caudill was hired in 2024 as an Office Representative that has earned his California and Oregon property and casualty insurance license. Jakob was born, raised and educated in Sonoma County. In 2025, Nicholas Straw joined our Team and is concurrently attending the SRJC while attaining his CA and OR insurance licenses. All licensed Team members are able to assist you in creating your own personal price plan.
